4 Ways to Treat Scalp Burn

We all know sun burn is not pleasant, but scalp burn is even worse! Follow these tips to treat scalp burn:

1. Add Milk. Dip a washcloth into freezing cold milk (2% is best) and press against your scalp. *The enzymes in the milk promote healing.

2. Scrub Away. If you do have scalp burn, your scalp will begin to peel. Your first instinct will be to grab the Dandruff shampoo but DON'T; it will actually irritate your scalp even more. Instead, use a Clarifying Shampoo like KMS Clarify Shampoo or label.M Deep Cleansing Shampoo; these will get rid of flakes and balance your scalp.

3. Avoid Heat. Applying heat to your scalp could cause significant, or even permanant, damage. You can blow-dry your ends if needed.
